When Automatic loading is enabled in the extension, that means the panel loads an available transcript automatically after you navigate to a video. This extension setting controls when the panel loads; it does not cause YouTube to generate captions.
You can select a transcript line to seek the player, choose Copy for plain text, or choose Copy + time for timestamped lines. If YouTube later updates the captions, select Refresh to clear the temporary cache and request the current track.
Can the extension transcribe a video with no captions?
